Barrie Price had a distinguished career as a Military Surgeon before specialising in Vascular Surgery.

Barrie has always had a very strong interest in research and is one of the few UK surgeons with two Theses - and MS and an MD.

Although employed by the army until 2001, Barrie has spent most of his time in civilian Vascular Surgery. With this specialist interest and his research credentials he was ideally positioned to join the Clinic in 2001.
